When is Vet Tech Appreciation Week?

The Vet Tech Appreciation Week is an annual event which takes place in the third week of October each year. This year, it will happen on October 13-19, 2019. It was first celebrated in 1993 and it is focused on vet techs and their hard work. Last year, the National Veterinary Technician Week happened between October 14 and 20. In 2017, it took place between October 16 and 22, while in 2016 it was held between October 17 and 23.

During this week, veterinary technicians and their colleagues organize or take part in events, which aim in educating the public about their work. Moreover, these events serve for booting the professionalism in the veterinarian field, as well as, developing a higher value of the veterinary profession.
